Our tests for 100% safe formulas

At Monjour, we want to offer care products that respect the skin of very young and old alike. This is why all of our formulas are subject to specific tests to ensure their safety.

Cosmetics dermatological test

Test measuring skin irritation:

For what ? Some ingredients used in cosmetics are likely to create skin irritation reactions.

How ? To avoid this, Monjour tested its solar products under dermatological control via the Patch Test*, a recognized cosmetic test, ensuring products adapted to sensitive skin of children & non -irritating. *Evaluation of the skin compatibility of a cosmetic product under dermatological control - Patch test 10 volunteers for 48 hours.

Test measuring the toxicity of ingredients and formulas:

For what ? Certain substances used in cosmetics can be toxic to pregnant women and babies.

How ? Each of the substances contained in the solar product has been evaluated individually by a toxicologist* to determine their penetration into the skin, ensuring that none of them is absorbed at dangerous concentrations for the pregnant woman and the baby. *Evaluation of cosmetic product safety

Test measuring phototoxicity:

For what ? Some ingredients used in cosmetics are photostoxic. This means that once the product is applied to the skin and that the latter is exposed to the sun, the ingredients can create toxic reactions.

How ? To avoid this, Monjour submitted its solar products to the international test OECD 432: 2019* guaranteeing non -photootoxic products. *Evaluation of the phototoxic potential according to the in vitro 3T3 NRU method (OECD 432: 2019)

Test measuring hypoallergenicity:

For what ? Some ingredients used in cosmetics are considered allergens, that is to say that they can cause various skin reactions, especially on sensitive skin.

How ? To avoid this, my day excluded all the allergens from his list of ingredients, including in the scent* of all his products (without alcohol, nor allergens), which respect the last Ifra* standards as well as the European regulations (CE) 1223/2009. *IFRA (International Fragency Association) standards, prohibit, limit and set the criteria of the ingredients that can be integrated into perfumes to ensure that they are not harmful to health and the environment.
