Natural organic cosmetics
Organic cosmetics has grown in recent years, but what does it really want to mean? When can we say that cosmetics are organic? In this article, you will know everything about this type of cosmetics.
Organic cosmetics
An organic cosmetics is a product which contains at least 95% of organic ingredients: if the product contains 100% organic ingredients then it can be directly displayed organic on the packaging without going through a label. If the product contains between 95 and 100% organic ingredients, its biological character must be mentioned on the label by a label and must thus respect the specifications of the latter. However, many cosmetics contain 50 to 80% water, a mineral. Knowing that minerals cannot be “cultivated”, they cannot be considered biological. Thus, a second regulations have been implemented to promote the clareté of this label. If the share of biological ingredients compared to the entire product is at least 20%, the product can be categorized organic.
Natural cosmetics
A natural product is a product that is not synthesized by humans and can come from animals, plants or minerals. Depending on the ISO16128 standard, a care product is natural or naturally of natural origin if it has a percentage of natural ingredient/natural origin greater than 95%. What is the difference between a natural ingredient and a natural ingredient? They both come from “nature”, however natural informs that the ingredient is added gross, without having undergone transformation unlike the natural origin which provides the fact that the ingredient has undergone a slight Transformation (example: extraction of a part).
